Frailty thy name is…

Wes

Dumas’ Edmond and Haydee would have me believe that all we can do is hope and wait. Would this feed or starve Chance? On my road I’ve leaned on wheels of dependence, of impatience, and of longing. I remember being of the opinion that it fattened opportunity, yet I cannot recall fulfillment.

All Chance does is make you choose definitively between optimism and pessimism. In the end you, yourself, will leave the glass tipping gently off the edge and chance will be a mere final breeze in the wrong direction.

When did Chance drive you to pessimism?

Wes – You realize that impatience, dependance and longing are all passive emotions right? Hasn’t it always been said (and made sense) that you had to actively pursue your dreams, to grab life by the balls?

Sometimes you have to create your own opportunities, you can’t just want something and wait for it. Life only supplies to you necessities, if you want anything more you have to go find it yourself.
