So I went to the Dominican Republic earlier in the month and I found out a few not so nice things about us Canadians. Here is a few things that I heard passangers commenting on, as well as noticed myself. I’m not bitching about how bad my vacation was because I had a really good vacation. Just reminding some people that if everyone remembered a little courtesy for their fellow man things would be a lot better.

On The Plane:
1.) Remember Flight attendants are people too!
2.) You don’t have to clap when the Pilot lands, they’re doing their job, what else did you expect. (If you clap for them, then clap for everyone you see doing their job it’s only fair)
3.) Please be considerate of the other passengers around you, They’re just as cramped as you are and sometimes even more.

At The Airport:
1.) Please do not be inconsiderate and start throwing other people’s bags around so you can get to yours faster.
2.) Also eavesdropping on others conversations is supremely rude, so don’t do it.
3.) Do not make fun of the locals, they are different yes, but not inferior.
4.) Do not block the exits, just because you don’t know where you’re going, doesn’t mean others don’t

At the Resort:

1.) Do not be a pig and take everything of an item in a buffet, that’s just RUDE! Go up for seconds if you’re that hungry.
2.) Do not run up and down the hallways at ungodly hours screaming your head off or yelling, the person you’re talking to is generally right beside you and everyone in the hotel doesn’t want to know your business.
3.) Remember the three foot bubble rule, I’m not in your space, so do not come into mine.
4.) Please do not gawk, it’s just unclassy
5.) Remember that if you are in line and you hold up the line, you are not only wasting everybody’s time, but you are going to possibly get food thrown at you.
6.) Treat the employees there with respect, they may be working there but they are not your slaves
7.) Attempt to speak the language if you can, unless you wanted to be referred to as “Gringo”, you don’t have to speak much, just be considerate and aknowledge people.

So far we have some very hefty words
to live up against,

So I thought I would add a little joy to your life
by writing a little something on a day that is wonderful for me at least.

As the light refracts the light from your eyes ,
I am struck by the most translucent colour of Blue.
I hear my breath catch just at an image of you,
You don?t know me but I know you all too well.
I feel my pulse quicken at the mere mention of your name.
I know so much, yet so very little.
You?d have no idea much less a clue.
You have that hint of a smile,
as if you know a secret;
one that would involve you,

and an experience neither one would tell.

It seems that since I went to the everything about sex show I’ve been leaning towards writing trash.
It’s fun to write although it does not stretch my mind.
Now picture this if you will….
As I’m walking down a wall of for lack of a better term Hardcore Porn, I have Rob Roy, Jesus and Jack the Ripper come walking towards me and my best friend.
I turn to him and sayout of the blue,” Well as for the whole kilt to the wedding thing I’m going to pass..”
He turns to me with a look of confusion and says,” Huh what the hell?”
I point and say “Well if the kilt comes with Jesus then I’m going to Pass”
He proceeded to die with laughter.

So next year if you get a chance to see the 10 ft Trojan condom and the sex show I say go it’s very enlightening.

So life here under a rock at the ends of the earth is quite good.
I love how peaceful and quiet it is here.
you know it would be even nicer if people didn’t have double standards…. Oh well my rocks are nice and peaceful.
hey I have a question for you out there…
If someone was sick while they were up at a cottage would you be pissed at them for not being around the crowd, or would you be pissed off at them?

I wait under the rock to hear the answers….

I thought I would write an entry to tell you yes I haven’t fallen off the face of this earth and no I do plan to write more this summer.
So far this Canada Day weekend was interesting to say the least.
I look back now at it and Laugh at the irony.
How can you be a liar when all you have ever told the person is the truth and when they say you don’t tell me anything anymore
you reply well that would be because you don’t listen.
does anybody have those friends that are constantly trying to start fights and arguments or worse they’ll verbally attack you every chance they get?
I’ll use a term this person gave to me as a description of one of their “friends”
a wet blanket…. I find lately what ever comes out of this persons mouth is negative.
and they remind me of a wet blanket.
so now I have raged I hope everyone else has a good weekend or at least will try to.

So tonight I’m going to the Blink concert and I expect to have a good show to tell you about in my next entry. I don’t know if anyone has missed my writing here and I apologize to those who did I have been really busy in the last few weeks in that I have been writing more of my book and sort of have forgotten about OE *bad girl* so I will try to keep you posted as to how it is going.
